Door Lock (Keyless Entry)

Each household member gets their own PIN code rather than sharing one, up to 20 codes on most models. You can see exactly who entered and when, which is genuinely useful for tracking when kids get home, when a dog walker or cleaner comes by, or confirming who used a specific code if something goes wrong. Codes can be added or revoked instantly from the ADT Control app, no locksmith required.

The lock is rated bump-key proof, which closes off one of the most common ways a traditional deadbolt gets defeated without leaving obvious damage.

Because the lock hooks into your fire detection system, it can be configured to unlock automatically when a smoke or CO alarm triggers, so a locked door is never the thing standing between your family and getting out during an emergency. This is a genuine safety feature, not just a convenience one, and it is specific to having the lock installed as part of an integrated ADT system rather than as a standalone smart lock.

Remote lock and unlock also means you can confirm the door is secured after leaving, or let in a family member who forgot their code, without being home.
